UNITED STILL LOOKING FOR POGBA REPLACEMENT

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has refused to commit his future to the club and there are still rumors making the rounds that he could be leaving Old Trafford at the end of the current campaign. Pogba has always had his name among the news when it comes to transfer rumors and it does not look like that will be stopping anytime soon. His agent, Mino Raiola, has often reiterated that he would love to see his client leave the Red Devils and that there are already several offers waiting for him to acknowledge. The clubs said to be interested in acquiring the France international midfielder’s services include Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid, Italian Serie A giants Juventus, and French Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain.

The three clubs mentioned are some of the very few ones that can willingly afford to pay the player’s transfer fee and his wages. However, none of those clubs are eager to add his huge wage demands to their wage bill, which is one of the major problems regarding why he is yet to establish any agreement with any of those clubs. Many people believe that Pogba will not be a United player at the end of the forthcoming summer transfer window but there is still hope that he could eventually put pen to paper and sign a new deal at United but wants to first see who the next manager will be before committing his future.

Current manager Ralf Ragnick has been tipped to help the Red Devils in their quest to find a new permanent manager after this season ends and once they do get a manager that Pogba finds interesting and able to work with, he could be signing a new deal instead. Several players have been linked with a move to United recently including West Ham United’s Declan Rice.
