  1. “And – which is more – you’ll be a man my son!” Is possibly the most powerful line in any poem ever. In my opinion anyway.

Drastically less number of views than the video actually deserves!

  3. One of the most inspiring poems ever.

  4. Probably he used After Effects. It is the most common “typography” software. I put that in quotes because it does much more. If you want to learn how, there are a lot of tutorials floating around. I am guessing it took him about 100 hours.

  5. if i ever have a son, this poem will be their words from me when they wake and when they sleep.

  6. If I could quadruple like this I would. Amazing job. The poem is beautiful, and you are obviously a true artist.

  8. I love it, Top Work. May I ask how you did the graphics, what software and how long did it take you?

  9. I’m sorry I’m not going to accept your comment on one of Fauré’s greatest works after you favourited “scouting for girls”, you’ll never be a man.

  16. This video was very well done and I thank you for sharing it with the world. I would like to use the link to this video with my new web site make which is designed to help people who have difficulty speaking, improve the ability to talk. My grandfather used to recite this poem at all family gatherings, and it has resonated through my mind, often, year after year. I am sure people with speaking difficulties and their care givers would benefit from it . Mark A. Ittleman

This is my interpretation, “Let everyone’s opinion have value, but don’t give too much weight to any one individual.” I want to find people I agree with, but I try not to ignore those with opposite opinions because they could be right. Or wrong…

“If all men can count with you, but none too much”

What does it mean by, but none too much?
