The Half Time Cup
What are my memories, from growing up
It’s watching my village team, and, the half time cup
What went into that coffee, I don’t know
But it made our team, always, put on a show
But best of all, for us, to young to play
We were given, the remains, instead of throwing it away
It made me grow up, with one goal in my life
To make the coffee maker, my very own wife
For she alone, had the ingredients of, that heartening cup
And, so it was, for me, when I was young, and, growing up
