That day at the game, when we witnessed the magic
Those feet, with a ball, showed us every new trick
It was music to ears, and, indeed heaven sent
The way that man played, was like, it was meant
To be shown, on the worlds greatest stage
Like showing a bird, in a beautiful gilded cage
That is, just, what that display meant to me
Those dazzling feet, were there, for all to see
So, I will take away, these memories so great
As you played the game, serving up on a plate
Football for all, that wont be forgotten, ever
Remembered by all, until, the tweifth of never
