You yellows, you reds, ambers, all colours it seems
We don’t care what colour it is, we support the side
The players that, wear that badge, with every bit of pride
We love our teams, even if, they wear a shirt of african violet
Which, has been known to happen, at least once, you can bet
So lets hear it, for the football teams, that play, to win our hearts
And pray we’re in the stadium, when the goalscoring starts

Heaven is a saturday, travelling to the match
You know that when it’s kick off time, you will have to watch
Not taking your eyes, off. the field of play, in case you miss any tricks
Because, the programe says, to watch the number six
But every tackle that you see, is fair with anger, from both sides
And, every challenge that goes in, is to rip out, opponents insides
