Football, football, coming out my ar*e and ears
Singing it, writing it, waiting for those cheers
To die down, so we know the season’s finished
And, every teams fans, have what they wished
We can all start, to prepare, for next season starting
Hoping again, to survive, we don’t need the Red sea parting
To escape the threat of relegation, so the fans can chant
That their team, is staying up, and then, finding a descant
So they can sing, as one, in harmony a glorious chorus
We are staying up, can somebody book us a bus
To ride round the authors head, in celebration
As we try to share, our joy, and jubilation
The north circular route, will do us just fine
Then, on to Piccadilly Circus, to have a good time
