Technology and the Game
I’ve got to say, it’s time technology was, involved in, the modern game
The god, whose name, is, referee, has got it wrong, for far too long
Which, in this modern era, is, an absolute travesty, and, shame
There are, just too many, vital decisions today, that, are called wrong
The penalties that, never were, sendings off, when, it’s not even a foul
Defenders, being allowed, to block strikers, and, shepherd a ball out
Then, being booked, because, they had the nerve, to actually growl
At a decision, when, they were supposedly, seen to clout
Mr nobody, or was it, mr nobody, that, did all the unseen striking
That lays players out, for tthe best part of, five minutes, plus treatment
When, all that is happening, is, they’re trying, to get a booking
For the only one, that’s, playing like, an honest to goodness, gent
