Number Thirty
Got to think up another rhyme of football
Making thirty altogether in total
If you had doubts that I could do it
Then I apologise for that but just sit
And take in these rhymes I write for you
Because it’s the one thing I can do
Back to football as we score more goals
All this without selling any of our souls
To satan or some Arab worshipped god
Kicking a football not breaking laws of sod
Just playing a game simple and so at ease
Being better than the other team playing as a tease
Getting the results we need to make our season fine
Celebrating at the end with the odd bottle of wine
So lets hear it for these poems on the beautiful game
I write and forever may I be able just to do the same
